What is the PLCA?
The Pennsylvania Legislative Correspondents' Association is a nonprofit that advances free and responsible journalism while representing those reporting on Pennsylvania government from the State Capitol and fostering the next generation of journalists through summer internships. The application period for the 2023 summer internship session is closed. See our centuries-old history and membership. Contact individual reporters. |
The next generation
Every year, PLCA members help train the next generation of journalists. For 12 weeks each summer, two college interns rotate between news outlets covering the state Capitol, learning to cover the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. Past interns are working at news outlets across the country, and some are playing key roles in newsrooms across the state. To learn more about the program, click here. |
